Canna Planet — Ellenville

Canna Planet is on the walkable North Main Street stretch in Ellenville, the old Borscht Belt town tucked into the Shawangunk foothills on Route 209 in southern Ulster County. Owner Shivani Patel has lived and worked in the Hudson Valley for more than three decades, and the storefront is part of the slow-burn downtown revival that's been underway along Ellenville's Main Street since the pandemic. The shop sits at 37 North Main, a few blocks from the Canal Towne Emporium and the trailheads up into Sam's Point and the Shawangunk Ridge. For visitors headed for the cliffs at Minnewaska or the Berrypicker trails, it's the natural stop coming up from Monticello or down from Kerhonkson.
