Callicoon
Delaware River town with a 1940s theater, Seminary Hill cidery, and summer-weekend pull.
Callicoon sits on the Delaware River at the edge of Sullivan County — a one-main-street town with the Callicoon Theater (the oldest continuously-running cinema in the county), Seminary Hill’s orchard-and-cidery, and the Upper Delaware River corridor out the back door. Summer weekends pull a weekend-house crowd, and the fall foliage drives leaf-peeper traffic through until November. No licensed dispensary in town yet; Jeffersonville (The Green House) and White Lake (Amber Jane) are the closest.
