What to expect
Hunter Mountain's New Year's Eve programming includes torchlight parade, fireworks, and night skiing — the kind of resort NYE that families and groups split between. Reservations book hard for lodging; lift tickets available walk-up. Adults 21+ keep cannabis at lodging; the resort runs standard no-cannabis policy.
The rule, plainly
Adults 21 and over may possess up to three ounces of flower and 24 grams of concentrate, bought from a licensed shop. New York state law prohibits cannabis consumption on state-owned land and in public spaces. What it means for your evening: buy sealed from a licensed shop, keep it closed in the car, and consume only where the venue allows; rentals set their own house rules, so ask before you book.Checked Sep 2026 · Source: OCM
