Saugerties sits where the Esopus Creek flows into the Hudson, and editorially it lives on both sides of the line: for the Hudson Valley it’s a river-town antiquing destination, and for the Catskills it’s the foothills gateway pointing west toward Phoenicia and the high peaks.
