CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS Maverick Family Saturdays

These short interactive events, long a Maverick tradition, are designed for enjoyment by children in grades K-6. Admission is free for children and adults. Camille Saint-Saëns: Le carnaval des animaux (The Carnival of the Animals) The Carnival of the Animals, the humorous musical suite for children by the French composer Camille Saint-Saëns, performed live accompanied by a crankie and artistic puppetry, each followed by an instrument petting zoo. Rachel Evans: violin / artistic & music director Garry Kvistad: percussion Blair McMillen: piano Ages: All – No musical experience needed to participate.
