Esopus Creek Tubing Season 2026 — Phoenicia

Esopus Creek tubing season in Phoenicia runs roughly Memorial Day through mid-September, conditions and creek flow permitting. Local outfitters rent tubes and run shuttle service from Phoenicia to upstream put-ins — Town Tinker Tube Rental is the long-standing operator. Wear shoes; the rocky creek bed is real. Adults 21+ should know that the Esopus runs through state-managed Catskill Forest Preserve in places, where consumption is prohibited. Tube clean.
