What to expect
Margaretville's Saturday farmers market runs morning hours June through October on Main Street near the village green. Smaller, more local-leaning than Pakatakan up the road; produce, baked goods, prepared food, the occasional flower vendor. Anchor of a slow Margaretville weekend morning. Adults 21+ follow the standard public-park cannabis rule.
The rule, plainly
Adults 21 and over may possess up to three ounces of flower and 24 grams of concentrate, bought from a licensed shop. New York state law prohibits cannabis consumption on state-owned land and in public spaces. What it means for your evening: buy sealed from a licensed shop, keep it closed in the car, and consume only where the venue allows; rentals set their own house rules, so ask before you book.Checked Sep 2026 · Source: OCM
