Margaretville is the western-Catskills crossroads — where Rt 28 meets Rt 30 at the head of the Pepacton Reservoir, twenty minutes from Belleayre and on the way in to Andes and Roxbury. Lively Harvest opened as the town’s first licensed dispensary in March 2025. Longyear Gallery, the Open Eye Theater, and a handful of newer cafes have given the village a second wind that wasn’t there a decade ago.
